AMELIE BRADSHAW
Costume Designer and Constructor.
ABOUT ME….
During my 3 years at university, I have built my confidence in costume construction which has enabled me to develop a variety of costumes that I would never imagine I could do. One of my new-found interests is machine embroidery which I developed through my final project in Element 2. I would love to explore this further at industry level, it is a relaxing job that adds life to a garment. I also really enjoyed making and designing for a pantomime brief. The pantomime genre allows for a playful and wacky style of costuming which I had a lot of fun with. With my skills of fabric buying, the fabric I chose really brought the design to life. Designing is something I am particularly interested in, the creative style of producing moodboards and rough drawings for characters that bring them to life is something I really enjoy.
