Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar child

Emma Bloom- A female peculiar who has the ability of creating and manipulating fire. She is described as ‘hot-tempered’ by Miss Peregrine but trustworthy by Miss Peregrine. She is wearing this 1940s style dress with organza layers and fire embroidery to match her peculiarity.

My Element 2 was my self-directed project. I chose the book ‘Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children’ by Ransom Riggs as a theatre production. The dress I designed was for ‘Emma’ who has fire powers. This was a fun garment to make, the dress itself is a simple silhouette but the textures of the fire embroidery and layers of orange and red chiffon brought her peculiarity to life.
