This panto is fun for all the family with characters including Cinderella, Buttons, Fairy Liquid, Prince Charming, Ugly step-sisters and Dandini. My concept for this project is to have costumes influenced by the 1990s. I want to play on the playful colourful patterns and textures from the era but keep the story traditional and fun. I want the parents in the audience to feel a sense of nostalgia watching this panto, which is why I want to use obvious gestures of the 1990s in each of their costumes – silhouette, fashion, patterns.
