This dress is a pantomime costume for the Nottingham playhouse prize. The design I worked from was designed by Nottingham Playhouse. This dress held a lot of playful elements such as the fur trims and the princess style headpiece. It was a challenging make as there is so many elements to the costume. The three different sleeves was something I found challenging but now feel confident with making. The fabric I chose for this is something I am proud of, even the head of costume at Nottingham Playhouse said she preferred this fabric to the one they used for the actual production.
